Position Overview:

We are currently seeking two Breastfeeding Peer Counselors to provide basic breastfeeding information, encouragement, and support to pregnant patients and breastfeeding people. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday on the day shift. One position is centered at Swedish Hospital and Erie Family Health Centers, the other is centered at Evanston Hospital. Occasional travel to partner facilities and adjacent communities is required.

General Summary:

As a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, you will be accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed lactation care for all levels of patients and their significant others in accordance with the mission, vision and philosophy of Endeavor Health.

Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Endeavor Health and exhibits a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the hospital.
